You'll hardly find a child in US who does not know the names of all Santa's reindeers. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder (or Donner), and Blitzen - these names are familiar to any child and it is something sacred, it's a miracle that children believe in. Yet shifty UK entrepreneurs made a successful business using these famous characters. UK food company Edible launched a new Christmas delicacy – Santa's Reindeer Pate. The 190g tins contain cognac, spices and reindeer meat – which comes from Sweden and is labelled as a "farm raised relative of Rudolph". Harvey Nichols stores sold this "Arctic delicacy" for 15GBP (around $25) per tin and it was so popular that the entire stock was sold out. Despite outcries against the practice of grinding up Rudolph reindeer pate turned out to be a successful business idea. And we all know that money doesn't smell.
